Meet Muirfield, my latest unfinished basement design project!

In this case, I developed plans to finish a basement for a family of five. I visualized three different floorplans, testing different locations of each space, including a seating area, kitchen, kids playroom, office, fitness area, bathroom and storage. As with all projects, all options got created in 3D, but the final selection got created as a high definition, photo realistic rendering.

Design 1

Floorplan included seating area / kitchen, office, playroom, gym and full bath
Support beams hidden in walls
HVAC hidden in unfinished utility closet

Design 2

Kept configuration of seating area, kitchen, gym and full bath
Adjusted entry to allow reconfiguration of office and playroom (making playroom larger and office smaller)

Design 3

Reconfigured layout entirely; entry opens to game area and open seating/kitchen area; playroom is towards the back; gym and office remain largely in the configuration from design #1
